Taking on a Form
Romans 8:29-30/2 Corinthians 3:17-18
- Every day I live I want to be as sweet as God allows me to be, but necessarily as hard as I can against Satan. Know what mood to live in, because there is a real need for truth in every situation. Believe in God and take steps and challenges. Know that you are weak, but that you will receive God’s ministry. Because your weakness itself provides the presence of God’s strength.
We do not come to God because we are educated or because we are good at speaking. We do not come because of any quality of our own. We come because God has called. As our hearts are humbled, we grow. As we live steadfastly in truth, with fixed directions and single vision. We want God’s word to keep us soft, gentle, and kind. Don’t lose your first love. Don’t let your lack of comfort take away your spiritual rest. Don’t let your schedule take over your meetings with God. Do not allow your heart to be hardened by misunderstandings, but be humble in your ministry of reconciliation to others. Pharaoh had the idea of staying focused on God, and it showed. Against the objective truth revealed in your life, you keep your own secret, it presents itself as a testimony, and your face will testify against you (Isaiah 3:9). As a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he be (Proverbs 23:7). What a person thinks against the truth is what happens in his experience. You will reap what you sow in your thoughts.
