✝ The Everlasting Gospel – Part 3: A Dialogue Between Two Spirits
(One summer evening, two people are sitting in a park and having a deep conversation.)
🌿 The dialogue begins…
✝ Day (Christian) : “Hey friend, you look a little serious. What’s wrong?”
🔍 Sameer (unbelieving) : “Day, do you ever wonder why people are born? Why am I here? What happens after I die?”
✝ Day: “Yes, these are the deepest questions of life. The answers to these questions are not found in the world, but in the Word of God.”
🔍 Sameer: ”God? I’m a little skeptical about it. Is there really a God?”
✝ Day: “Yes, there is a God. If you see a very beautiful picture, do you think it came into being by itself? Or did someone make it?”
🔍 Sameer: ”Of course someone made it.”
✝ Day: “Just like that, this vast universe, the earth, the stars, the sun—everything was created by someone. Nature cannot arise on its own. And that creator is God.”
⛓ The true state of sin
🔍 Sameer: ”But if there is a God, why is there so much suffering, war, injustice in the world?”
✝ Day: “It’s all because of sin. The Bible says, ‘For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23). When man chose his own way to turn away from God, pain, sickness, and death came into the world.”
🔍 Sameer: ”But I’m a good person, I haven’t done anything bad.”
✝ Day: “But are you sure that you have never lied in your life? Never thought bad thoughts?”
🔍 Sameer: ”Everyone lies.”
✝ Day: “That’s why we are all sinners. And the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23).”
🔍 Sameer: ”Does this mean I’m going to hell?”
✝ Day: “If we die in sin, yes. But God has provided a way for us to be saved.”
✝ Jesus – The Way of Salvation
🔍 Sameer: ”Which way?”
✝ Day: “Jesus Christ! He was innocent, but He died on the cross for our sins.”
📖 “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
🔍 Sameer: ”But if he died, where is he now?”
✝ Day: “He rose again on the third day, conquering death! He is still alive.”
📖 “He is not here; he has risen!” (Luke 24:6)
💡 Decision Hour
🔍 Sameer: ”But what should I do?”
✝ Day:
✅ You must admit that you are a sinner.
✅ You must believe that Jesus died on the cross for you.
✅ You must accept Jesus as your Savior.
📖 “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
🔍 Sameer (trembling) : “Can I pray now?”
✝ Day: “Of course! Open your heart and call on Jesus.”
🔍 Samir (praying) :
“Oh Jesus, I am a sinner. I confess that you died for me. Please forgive me. I accept you as my Savior. Amen.”
✝ Day (with tearful eyes) : “Now you are a new creation! You have eternal life in Jesus.”
📖 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
✨ Conclusion: The responsibility to preach the gospel
✝ Day: “Now you must also tell this good news to others.”
🔍 Samir: “Yes! I want my family, friends, everyone to know Jesus!”
📖 “Go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)
