Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Who benefits?
Ephesians 6:6
- Do not fuel your desires outside of God’s will. Let go of worldly desires. Your earthly organs, which act to calm your natural nature, have been put to death. When you are born from above into a life of experiential faith, the use of your organs by earthly desires dies. The Word separates the soul from the soul and you are God-conscious, elevated to the throne room of your new life. Your soul is subject to the objective light of the soul. As a result, instead of being dominated by what is worldly, the body is being controlled by the life above! When your organs are controlled by the earth, it is always you who benefits, in the midst of discipleship, instead of you becoming a disciple and magnifying God in the midst of need. Remove all the things that try to become idols, that promote the worship of desires instead of living by faith in the plan of grace.
What is God’s desire for me in His plan of grace? That Christ may be all in me, for I allow him to be all in all things, as far as I am concerned. Our own desires will result in loss, because we cannot win Christ in our own plans, which are made without God’s mind. We may have success through our acquisitions, but when heaven and earth pass away, and fire burns those metal rings, all that remains are those things that cannot be shaken or removed, the gold, silver, and precious stones that come from a life lived according to the Word. , which lasts forever.
