Unlike other forms of love that may be based on emotions, affection, or mutual benefit, agape love is not dependent on the worthiness of the recipient, but on the giver’s choice to love freely and unconditionally.

Agape love is often described as the highest form of love because it reflects God’s nature and His will for relationships. It is a love that gives without expecting anything in return and loves even when it is not reciprocated.
