Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Withheld without evidence
2 Timothy 3:5
- Know them whom God has sent. Come under the full administration of the power of power. Strip yourself of all your freedom. When we come to the cross, we come to the end of all logic. We are only there to be available in the dust of humility. We never live in that partial teaching anymore, but exist in the full authority of the Holy Spirit who redeems our lives.
Does God give us anything less than the power and authority given to 70 people (Luke 10:11)? Would God let people go without revelation, without gifts, and without being given eternal consequences?
Has God given them something that He does not give us? If we look at the situation as it is today, we can guess that God is withholding something, because we see no evidence of power and life. But this is the man who has withheld his heart from God, has not yet devoted himself to the administration of the Holy Spirit. Because of our own misguided choices, we now have something that has lost its substance, its purity, its persuasive words, its clarity, its wholeness, its keen practicality, and its healing power.
People call it the presence of Christ, and yet they are never visited by the presence of God from the administration. Jesus Christ wants us to walk in the power of apostolic Christianity, with a river that flows through our hearts, a fire that burns within our souls, a walk in the administration of love, an authority whose difference and manifestation you cannot deny. - Today’s reading passage: 2 Chronicles 1-3
