Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Nothing can separate us from ‘God who is’.
- God who is (John 4:8, 16). Love creates power in man for God. Love never fails, (1 Corinthians 13:8). I fail love but love will never fail me. The power of love is eternal in its expression and will never leave me nor forsake me, (Hebrews 13:5). We cannot be separated from that love, which by faith becomes the character of our life. How can we be separated from the love that is longsuffering, kind, jealous, not puffed up, does not behave unseemly, is not self-seeking, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices in the truth, endures all things, believes all things. , expect everything and face everything.
Love makes room for reconciliation. Love is not a personal condition for performance, but a conditional behavior that changes. Love creates the effects of love to be our expression, (Galatians 5:22,23). We may be separated from the influence of that love, but never from its work. I may not be faithful for love’s sake, but love is always faithful and does what it wills, (1 Thessalonians 5:24). I can delay love, but I cannot separate myself from the act of love. If I desire to cultivate love, the Apostle will calm and humble me to be faithful, (2 Corinthians 5:14). Love always makes me overcome, (2 Corinthians 2:14). Not my ability to love but my availability to love allows me to live and express the effects that make me all that He is. I can never be separated from what is promised to be true and beautiful in every situation. - Today’s reading passage: Nehemiah 4-6
