Heavenly Orientation
Jeremiah 31:3
In our subjective mind, we are devoted to God through the life of Christ. By orienting ourselves heavenly to God’s word for life, we experience that God’s word directs us heavenly, when we are not oriented to our circumstances. Many people feel that they know how to handle the situation from the knowledge of their past situations. They are alive only for themselves. To be alive for God, we must experience the death of the cross.
Death on the cross is a spiritual confession, which surrenders to the subjective mind. By looking objectively at our circumstances regarding the life of Christ, we gain truth in our subjective mind. If we ourselves look at ourselves with a mind of grace, we will continually receive God’s provision.
And perfection should not be a reason to retreat from what God requires of us, but to bring closer the response of love, which has made godly things possible for our lives. The love that brought Christ to the cross, now brings us to the throne of victory. We are no longer lost in the confusion of what we want to be, but we are safe in the decision that Christ tells us what we are in Him. We are hidden in Christ, now made public in Adam’s incapacity. When Satan attacks us mentally and we open up, for a moment, to our faults, the blood of Christ covers them and God never imputes them to us. At the very moment when we turn from the truth, Christ will not forsake us because of the quality of His prescribed way of life.
