Jayamsih! Welcome to today’s devotion.
and he was no more.
Genesis 5:24
- is very important for us to know two things:
(a) it is impossible for us to change into Adam, and
(b) it is impossible for God to lie about what he did to Adam.
A believer may walk with God outwardly, but he cannot walk with God inwardly until he understands the meaning of the words “together” and agree, and then moves into grace. “Together” means to be one soul in two bodies. Although Christ’s soul was mortally wounded, his soul was no less than the soul of God, while he was in his humanity.
Do not stay in the marriage of two souls with two bodies. Be in redemptive marriage with one soul in two bodies. One redeemed family, one soul in every member; And one redemptive body of Christ, every member joined in one soul. Those people who are not redeemed are a bunch of souls in many bodies – they are all different.
If we agree with God then we are one soul. In Genesis 5:24 it is written, that Enoch walked with God and was no more. This chapter discusses the lives and deaths of one person after another. And then it tells about Enoch, a man who walked separately, and who never died but went to heaven with Christ. All kinds of people live and die, but those who walk with God have the final authority and are not, because they are with Christ.
