Can I know God?
We all face struggles and questions in our lives. Is it possible for us all to know God personally? In this article, we will explore this question in depth and try to understand it from the perspective of faith and spirituality, along with the biblical perspective.
1. Seeking God in Times of Struggle and Sorrow
When faced with uncertainty and suffering in life, we feel our need for spiritual peace more acutely. The author, facing the deep sorrows and challenges of his life, realized, “I no longer felt like I was in control.” This made him feel the need for God’s presence and control.
Bible Verses:
“I will find you if you seek me with all your heart.”
(Jeremiah 29:13)
Here the Bible tells us that it takes a complete surrender of our hearts to know God and receive His guidance. Seeking God in times of struggle shows us the way to new life and peace.
2. Sin and its solution: God’s solution
Sin is not just spiritual instability, but going against God’s will and love. The author began to understand the existence of sin and began to believe in God’s solution to these problems, namely the sacrifice of Jesus.
Bible Verses:
“If we believe in the death and resurrection of Christ, we too will have new life with him.”
(Romans 6:5)
According to the Bible, Jesus’ death and resurrection are God’s love and mercy for our sins. This opened the way for the writer to confess his sins and trust in God.
3. Leap of Faith: Knowing God
Life does not change based on logic and reasoning alone. A leap of faith is necessary. Believing this, the author dedicated his life to God.
Bible Verses:
“Your faith has brought you favor with God.”
(Ephesians 2:8)
Here the Bible wants to say that only faith is necessary to receive God’s grace and salvation. Faith is trusting in God and accepting His guidance.
4. New life and peace
When the author believed in Jesus, he experienced a new kind of peace. It gave him spiritual peace and stability, which led to a profound change in his life.
Bible Verses:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you.”
(John 14:27)
The peace of Jesus is different from the peace of the world. This peace is found in the presence of God and brings peace and contentment to our lives.
5. Personal relationship with God
Ultimately, the author acknowledges that a personal relationship with God can be built. For this, knowledge and reason alone are not enough. It is necessary to know God with faith and devotion.
Bible Verses:
“Love God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
(Matthew 22:37)
Here the Bible tells us that we must surrender our entire being to a relationship with God. This surrender transforms our lives spiritually and creatively.
I am not real good with English but I get hold this rattling easygoing to translate.
