Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
Binding and loosing
Matthew 16:19
The enemy has been unleashed on this earth. His attacks are constantly coming out. Through his own opinions, supernatural projections, and his own motives, he expels them. Whenever there are men available to participate in the enemy’s plan of attack, there is rejoicing in his camp. As people grapple with his exit strategy, Satan goes one step further to influence people’s minds with the corruption and darkness of his lies, leading them to hell. Satan has virtually no power over those who are in Christ, but wants to convince them of his lies. He is a serpent that eats dust, delighting in the filthiness that deceives the earthly nature of man, a nature that is devoted to his rule. It is through the reviving power of the Holy Spirit that redeems man from this universal deception.
The tragedy of deception is that man now enters into Satan’s outcast strategy. Man receives, draws out, and produces impressions through another man, without a mind of truth to bind him to. Satan casts out, and casts out again. He does this through people, worldly people and even Christians.
A Christian must bind the things that Satan has brought out by never listening or accepting what he has brought out. We listen to God and come out as what God is and what God has said. We are not under the kingdom of the serpent. We have been delivered from a fool’s folly. We speak through God to reveal God’s Word to God.
