  • Where did Absalom’s conspiracy against his father David begin? This happened after he started thinking about his father’s ministry. He took advice from a consultant who criticized Dawood. Absalom thought that what he had done was right. He thought that he could do better than his father. He got some parties to hold his views and planned to install himself as king. How he got people to agree on the extent of his evil.
    What was the result of his plot? His false umbrella took him to the tree and left him hanging. He was hanging between heaven and earth. His eyes could not look up to heaven and his feet were not on earth, because his false umbrella imprisoned him on the edge of his own judgment.
    Absalom was not under David’s umbrella; For that reason, the head of David, he was not under the umbrella of Christ. The officer assigned to him went against his father and he went out from under the umbrella. No matter what David did, it was up to God to decide how to deal with him. Absalom usurped authority by going beyond his position of a devoted son. Some people say that they accept Christ and yet they do not accept the umbrella that Christ has given them as a right. A person who does this will hang without a foundation and will be left unable to walk properly on the earth. Our choice is the companionship of love brought about by surrender against conspiracy.
