Does Tapai wash my feet too?
John 13:4-10
- Because of the wrong concept of the word of God, the glory of the church is often cut off from seeing. Christ Jesus intends to present the church before himself without error. He accomplishes this by washing with the water of God’s word. How can you understand the word of God today? Christ’s authority is always found in his desire to love according to the Word. Are you willing to let His authority rule over you through His love? Those who want to be great among you have first made themselves the servants of all. Christ rose from the banquet, laid aside his clothes, took a towel, and wrapped himself. He was preparing to be the servant of all. “But he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, and being made in the likeness of men” (Philippians 2:7). Are you allowing the administration of the Word to cleanse you?
“Then he came to Simon Peter; And he said to him: “Lord, will you wash my feet? You will never wash my feet” (John 13:6,8). Through false humility, Peter denied the right to serve Christ and in doing so reversed the eternal plan for the cooperative church. You cannot serve the word of God. The Word is a master who only desires to serve and purify. “You are now clean,” says Jesus, “by the words that I have spoken you have been made clean.”
Allow the Word to wash you with purity, to become your servant. will you wash my feet Yes Lord, because “unless I wash you, I have no part of you.” - Today’s reading passage is Genesis 27-29

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
