IS THE BIBLE REALLY THE WORD OF GOD?

  • is how we look at the Bible, what is the importance of the Bible in our lives? Not only will these things be certain, but in the end they will have an eternal effect on us. If the Bible is truly God’s Word, we must take it, read it, obey it, and trust it fully. If the Bible is the Word of God, then to violate or deny the Bible is to deny God Himself.

The truth is that God has given us the Bible as a proof and example of His love. The word “revelation” simply means God’s communication to man about what God is like and how we can have a right relationship with Him. These are things we would never know if God had not revealed them in the Bible. God has given his revelation in the Bible successively for about 1500 years, God has put everything in the Bible that people need to know about God and if they want to have a good relationship with Him. If the Bible is truly the Word of God, it is the final authority on matters of faith, religious practice, and morals.

One question we must ask ourselves is how do we know that the Bible is the Word of God and not just a good book? What makes the Bible unique that makes it different from all religious books ever written? Is there any evidence that the Bible is truly the Word of God? 

If we seriously look at and examine the biblical claims, including these kinds of questions, we will definitely understand that the Bible is the only word of God, it is inspired by God and it is sufficient for all matters related to our faith and practice. There is no doubt that the Bible itself claims to be the Word of God. Paul clearly commands Timothy: who says, “Thou hast been acquainted with the Scriptures from childhood, Who can teach you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully equipped and perfect in every good work” (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

Here are both internal and external proofs that the Bible is the Word of God. Internal evidence is from within the Bible that testifies to the Bible’s divine origin. The first internal evidence that the Bible is the Word of God is its unity. Yet there are 66 separate books in the Bible, these books were written on 3 continents, written in 3 different languages, these books took almost 1500 years to write, these books were written by more than 40 authors who came from different backgrounds, yet the Bible is indisputably one book from beginning to end. remains This unity proves that the Bible is the Word of God, that the foundations of God are run by God and that they record and collect God’s words.

The second internal proof that the Bible is the Word of God is the prophecy that is clearly placed in the pages of the Bible. The Bible contains hundreds of individual prophecies that refer to the future of Israel, other cities, and humanity. Other prophecies are about the coming Christ or Messiah, the Savior in whom all the nations of the world will believe. These prophecies are not like the prophecies found in other scriptures, nor are they like the prophecies made by Nostradamus, because the biblical prophecies are completely clearly recorded and no prophecies have failed to be fulfilled. There are about 300 prophecies in the Old Testament related to the Lord Jesus Christ. In these prophecies where he will be born and from which family he will come, Not only is it told how he will die, but also how he will be resurrected from the dead. 

There is no other logical way to explain fulfilled prophecies unless we accept that the beginning of the Bible is divinely inspired. There is no other religious book in the world that contains proof of historical prophecies like the Bible.

The third internal biblical proof that the Bible is the Word of God is its unique authority and power. This evidence seems more subjective than the previous two internal evidences, not to say that it has any less powerful testimony than the Bible’s divine origin. No other book has ever been more authoritative than the authority of the Bible. This authority and power is best seen through which countless lives have been transformed by the supernatural power of God’s Word. 

Drug addicts were healed by the Bible, homosexuals were redeemed by it, abandoned and discouraged persons were converted by it, hard-hearted criminals were improved by it, sinners were rebuked and warned by it, and hatred was changed to love by it. 
The Bible has a dynamic and transformative power that is possible because it is truly the Word of God.

In addition to internal biblical evidence, there are other external evidences that prove that the Bible is the true word of God. One of these proofs is certainly the historical content of the Bible.

 Because the Bible describes historical events, its veracity and accuracy are subject to verification like any other historical document. Not only that, the events mentioned in the Bible through archeological evidence and other written documents are being verified from time to time which prove the Bible to be true and correct. in fact, All antiquities and manuscripts provide evidence that makes the Bible the most perfect and ancient book. In fact, the Bible records important historical events very accurately and truthfully as we relate to other religious topics and doctrines. These biblical records are the great signs or symptoms that prove the claim that the Bible is the Word of God alone.

Another external proof that the Bible is the Word of God is the integrity of the human authors of the Bible. As mentioned earlier, God used people from different backgrounds to write His Word. When we study the biographies of these people, we find that they are honest and sincere. In fact, when we examine their lives, it is true that they were willing to die a painful death for their faith, which proves that the people were simple but faithful people who really believed in God to whom God had spoken. 

The men who wrote the New Testament and the hundreds of believers (1 Corinthians 15: 6) They knew the truth of his message because they had seen Jesus Christ and spent time with him after his resurrection. Seeing the risen Christ had a great impact on their lives. Rather than hide in fear, they were even ready to die for the original message revealed by God. Their lives and deaths truly prove that the Bible is the Word of God.

The final external proof that the Bible is the Word of God is the inerrancy of the Bible. Because of its importance and its claim to be the only word of God, the Bible has endured more attacks and slander and suffering than any other book in history. 

The Bible has been attacked and persecuted by everyone from ancient Roman emperors like Dioceses, to Communist rulers and today’s modern atheists and agnostics, yet today the Bible stands on its own and is one of the most printed books in the world.

Over time, skeptics dismissed the Bible as mythology, but archeology has confirmed the Bible as a historical book. Opponents attacked the teachings of the Bible as old and out of date, but the moral and legal views and teachings of S have left a positive and effective impression on societies and cultures all over the world. The Bible is constantly being attacked by science, psychology, and political movements, but the Bible is still the true Word of God standing in its place and it is the same today as it was when the Bible was written. 

This is the book that has changed countless lives and cultures over the past 2000 years. There is no problem and no doubt how its opponents set out to attack, destroy, and make the Bible worthless, but the Bible remains in its original state as a completely true book; The truth and influence of the Bible remains unmistakable in our lives.
 In spite of all kinds of attacks, even when trying to destroy and corrupt the Bible, the integrity of the Bible is still preserved. This is the true testimony that the Bible is the Word of God. It should not surprise us how the Bible has been attacked, but the Bible has always remained an unchangeable and indestructible book. After all this, Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Mark 13:31).
