Welcome to today’s devotion.
Response to God’s Intercession
Song 5
- As the bride of Christ grows in maturity, God continues to provide her with a new depth and area of fellowship with Him. In Shrestha songs 3 and 4, he gives her a clear picture of her secure position: she is a walled garden, a quenched spring, a sealed stream. Satan cannot touch him in the position of his accomplished work. As Christ revealed her position in her, she could respond to that revelation with an increased receptivity, an ability to receive his love and give back to him and others all that she had received.
-
But she didn’t do that.
- She became self-satisfied and self-satisfied. He didn’t miss the spontaneity of the response. She became momentarily insensitive, allowing her ability to respond to her new knowledge to become paralyzed. His beloved laid his hand on the door; Those arms that embraced him, held him, those arms that were pierced for him on the cross. The door was closed. She was slow to respond, he stopped mediating, to show her what she had done. He did not punish him; But he left leaving the sweet lust of grace at the door. The slowness of her response affected her lover’s mediation, thus she became active and rose to find him. May we never take our spiritual perfection lightly and become desensitized to His daily intercession for us. True love has never closed its doors. Wake up from yourself and your self-satisfaction. Christ is waiting to meet you in the freshest fellowship of love. Today’s reading passage: Revelation 19-22
- God bless you Everyone have a nice day.
