Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion
John 15:16
- When our flesh, which is like grass (Isaiah 40:6), understands that it cannot choose for itself and what God has done for it to receive His love and light, only then can we understand what it means to be chosen. By God.
Peter tried to choose Christ, but his flesh was like grass. The disciples, as they walked with Christ, saw miracles and did things themselves, failed when the real test came and left Him on the cross. They tried to choose Christ by surrender, because they could not consistently follow their choice. One thing is very clear; “They did not choose Him, but He chose them.”
Even in salvation, when we discover that Christ shed His blood and died for us, we make ourselves available for His election. When man seeks to choose God, he is attempting the impossible goal of being born again from the will of man, rather than from the will of God, and consequently, instead of wanting God’s will for him, he must live in God’s will for him.
Christ has chosen you; you did not choose Him. He has chosen you to be the object of His mercy, the subject of His grace, the person of His salvation, His dwelling place, for humanity and for His divinity to be revealed. Your flesh is not always consistent in its choices, but God has chosen you. You do not need to experience the dilemma of indecision. He has decided.
Today’s Reading: Isaiah 52-54
Dear God, please give hope and peace to those who cry in silence.
Lord, I may not remember their names, but I pray that you will continue to touch their hearts. Help them to feel your loving presence. Open their hearts so that they can easily accept your guidance. They may not understand the events that are happening in their lives, but I trust that your grace will give them the strength to get through this difficult time.
Lord, only you know their true pain. They may not be able to express their pain, but please let them feel your peace. Show them the right path and bring suitable companions into their lives. Also, keep them away from people who are not sensitive to their pain.
Holy Spirit, open their hearts and ears so that they can clearly understand your message. Free them from fear and inspire them to move forward with faith. May your presence be with them throughout their lives, so that they never feel alone.
Jesus our Savior, you saved us from darkness, so heal their bleeding emotions. May they feel your love and sacrifice. May your great purpose in their lives be fulfilled.
Lord, may their lives be guided by your guidance. May your hand always be upon them. Heal and grant peace.
Glory to you, now and forever.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
