Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
As great a trial, so great a gift
Isaiah 50:1-2, 2 Corinthians 12:9
- Turn Your Circumstances Through Reconciliation. When we have need, we enjoy. God’s grace is sufficient; We live in a “Yes, and Amen” life with God where there are no two choices about the results of the promises. Not “yes and no,” but in him, “in the fullness of positive faith, yes.” We are hidden in the essence of that promise, yes, and in Him we find positive perfection, which makes us say the sure “Amen” without any other choice. We have such a life, after which no thought comes. We can see up to the promises and we only see them from the perspective of faith. We will never have to live without power. The more we go through it, the more we gain. The greater the test, the greater the reward. The more we fail, the more we are forgiven. The harder we go down, the harder we go up. With one heart united in faith, the situation is reversed, and the anger of man praises him.
Most people think that being strong is a good thing. But the weakest men are the strongest when grace ceases to govern their lives, because of the expression of the heart, and because they walk in the same cause. It is only weakness that overwhelms us, where only God can help us. We are in such a plight that only mercy accepts our case. Many times when we are placed in suffering and weakness, we deny ourselves by evaluating the sum of our weaknesses; But we do not gain strength by denying weakness. Strength is in accepting the grace of Christ.
