Matthew 17:4
- A vision with the body of Christ, the cross, and the results of that faith come forward. The whole result of seeing in this way is to see the place of things that are blinded from reality. Instead of counting the loss for the gain of the participating body (the body of Christ), many still want the opportunity to see their achievements.
Peter, James and John were taken apart to see Jesus in all his glory. Peter liked it so much that his mental faculties immediately went to plan. He wanted to remain in this state forever and to bring Christ to a stable place where he could hold his place. The Lord said let us go to another place. God never told us to rent a car to move our belongings and things. Only he said “abandon all”. Do not enter the land of Canaan with the mentality of Egypt. Perhaps you should be counted only externally, only when the kingdom is within you will your life be valued. You are always precious to God, because of His love. You become precious to people when God’s life is your only possession.
Jesus brought Peter, James and John from the mountain to a world full of need. After that, their first meeting was with a man whose son was possessed by an evil spirit. When we walk with God we discover that He is saving, healing, redeeming, building and going into the whole world. Do not adopt what you see in Christ from afar and never follow Him to follow in the valley, what you see in Christ should make you participate in the faith.
