Jayamsih.!! Welcome to every morning devotion.
Plan or issue?
(1 Corinthians 2:16)
- What are you filled with—God’s plan or His decrees?
Not once has God commanded, required, requested, or even counseled that His plan should be fulfilled. As believers, our responsibility is to be permeated by His teachings.
When a person gives his mind to concentrate on God’s plan, then he enters the realm of thinking beyond his own thinking. Whether or not we know God’s plan for our lives is of no consequence to us, but whether we fulfill it through His provisions. “Which of you can add one to your height by turning around?” (Matthew 6:27).
The result of being overwhelmed by plans is that the mind is full of questions. Being permeated by articles, all my thoughts have to be announced. Like Abraham, can you go into the wilderness without knowing where you are going, or do you need a geographical map to see the land? An egg doesn’t need any recipe knowledge to go into a cake. In the same way, it is not necessary on our part to complete the work of knowledge of God’s ways of making for our lives.
Christ is my subject. By His life, I am whole and I am a partaker of God’s plan. My thoughts are constantly occupied by the owner. For this moment, I am focusing on taking what He is for me. My concept of being permeated by God’s provisions for my life is what I allow my mind to savor. - Today’s reading passage is Exodus 5-7
