Jayamsih! Welcome to today’s devotion.
There is no turning back.
- Isaiah 1:2-5
When God brings a test, Satan counterattacks with lies to get us to be filled with the test instead of being filled with God’s purpose in it. If we accept a lie as the truth, then we are treating the situation as a lie. We begin to consider the truth according to appearances and we lose sight of God’s purpose revealed by faith. We think that it can only be fixed by rethinking it. Instead of giving place to the word, we are giving it to Satan. Instead of eternity, we give him time. Instead of heavenly truth, we give him human possibilities. We give religion to him instead of Christ.
Instead of God’s provision by our power to make our victory unchangeable, we are giving him the power to change us. We are responding according to his proposal. In the test we are leaving the Lord. Instead of bringing grace and life through trials, we are bringing the effects of our emotions; When they are also influenced by the devil’s show. We are not even considering our master’s kokro, which is the place where he rests under circumstances. It is easier for an ox to know its master by intuition than it is for us to allow ourselves to know God by ordinary faith. Instead of Psalm 42:7, God’s people leave faith, promises, and the Lord. The deep cannot call the deep and cannot create the deep in them. By living in mental disorder, we exalt the Lord to anger, which is less than the mind of Christ. Never go backwards from grace, but grow in faith and go forward in Christ.
