Faithful to Death
-
Revelation 2:10
Be faithful until the day you die. Do not leave the ministry that God has given you. All the provisions necessary to fulfill your responsibilities have been given to you by God, who will never leave you and never forsake you. Even if we fail, God’s faithfulness will stand because there are no conditions under the covenant of grace.
Be faithful to God in your ministry, even if it doesn’t seem important in your own estimation. It is important to God because it is another part of the glory and strikes the atmosphere with another needle of aggressive faith. Our faithfulness to God is not just about carrying burdens for the sake of continuity. It is a personal ministry to God, a direct attack on the enemy’s kingdom, and an added place for God to live in the body of Christ. Even if you don’t get the promotion you want in the body of Christ, don’t give up. God opposes the proud (James 4:4). Grace is given to those who love to glorify God. They become an advertisement of a gift freely given.
When you are faithful to God, you will be faithful to one another. A faithful friend represents the heart of God, where unfaithful people are living in sin for themselves. You may not be faithful to serve God and the body of Christ. Faithfulness to the body of Christ serves God with life. Those who are always redeemed – from death, are the ones who remain faithful until death.
